Josh on Straight edge and this site

Your site is very impressive!! I've been sXe pretty much my whole life. I never knew it was called straight edge untill a couple years ago. Ive always believed drugs are a false escape from reality and your burdens. Sex is not bad, but I constantly see people abuse it like a drug. I'm 19 yrs old and am so virgin that ive never even had a girlfriend. seeing my friends and family allowing sex to take over and destroy a perfectly good relationship sickened me.

I like the point that you bring up gambling in your site. I believe that it is an evil people constantly over look. People constantly complain about not being able to pay the bills and feed their kids. Well, if they didnt gambel it away and spend it on booz and "ciggs", maybe they wouldn't be in such a rutt.

I am not vegan but have been thinking about it for a while. I went to a hatebreed show and saw a very disturbing video. Animal mutilation. I love animals and the environment, so it was very hard to watch this video, but i couldn't turn away. I couldn't turn my head from the truth. It has been on my mind constantly. Its really hard for me to get away from meat. every one i know eats so much meat. It sucks!! So far i've totally cut off beef and pork. Now i'm working on chicken and fish. Then cheese and other milk products. I dont have any clothes made of animal product. I dont know man!!! I need to just try harder.

I live in a small town in Washington state called Shelton. I am the only sXe in my town that i know of. ALL of my friends are junkies and they totally respect my beliefs. I believe i am a good example to them and may have a positive affect on them eventually. I've always believed you are your own person and can do what you want and no one can stop you, judge you, or hold it against you.

I guess what i'm trying to say is that i agree pretty much 100% with everthing you say on your site.
