The New Site
A complete and utter overhaul of this site is long overdue. I believe it to be in such a poor state of disrepair that the majority of what is on the site now, must go. All articles, information, etc, will be replaced. This is not a one person job! For this I need mainly two things:

Staff Writers: Staff writers are needed to help in writing new articles for the site, and the site will need new articles and features on a regular basis. We will take one off submissions, but it will be preferrable to have a dedicated team, although how much you contribute is up to you (weekly, monthly, quarterly). We prefer those that can write in a professional and capable manner, and while topics may be given out at times it will be handy for people that can come up with their own ideas for articles and features.
If you would like to be a staff writer, please e-mail me at the above address, give me your details, let me know why you want to write for the site, and if possible please provide an example of your work (anything you have previously written, not necessarilly related to straight edge).
Please note, that there will be two facets of the site, vegan and straight edge. Please let me know which aspect you would like to contribute towards. Ideas: Before the site itself can be reworked, I need to know what to put on the site. What the content should be, what you want the site to have on it. This can be anything from ideas to sections we should have, ideas for articles, ideas for things you want to see on the site, anything! This is where I really need your help, even the slightest of idea! (Please, though, no suggestions that relate to the current site... I know it's bad, and it's going!)
Again, note that there will be a dual vegan/straight-edge site, let me know ideas you have for either of the two.
Basically, things are pretty much open to anything here. Let me know, if this site is to stay alive, I need your input. It's much appreciated! |
